How To Add Adsense Ads To WordPress Blog With Google Adsense Plugin..
Most of the new blogger’s dream is getting Adsense approval from Google, if you have chosen blogging as your career, Adsense approval plays a major role in your income, getting approval from Google is definitely a difficult one at present days, but if you follow their guidelines and adhere to their policies then getting an approval is not an impossible task.

Recently i got the approval for Adsense, after getting the approval from Adsense, i started thinking about how to place the ads in my blog, where to place, what is the size of ad i should try, which place of blog attracts more users without distracting their reading, all these doubts has raised in my mind.
First one week i kept two rich text square ads on my right sidebar, later I thought of adding horizontal bar above my blog post title, but i don’t know how to place it, I searched on Google to know about how to place it, later i came to know that there are some plugins available for Adsense, which can automate my ad placements.
When i am searching on Google, for Adsense plugins for WordPress, surprisingly i came to know that Google has it’s own official plugin for Adsense on WordPress for ad placements, which can solve the problem of how to add Adsense ads to wordpress blog, then immediately installed the plugin in my WordPress blog.
Now i will share my experience of how simple it is to install and setup the Google Publisher Plugin to make our life easy, when it comes to Adsense Ads, it is very easy to select our ad placements without going to Adsense account for copy and to paste that code on our blog, every thing can be managed from WordPress Adsense plugin itself.
How To Add Adsense Ads to WordPress Blog By Google Publisher Plugin
As i told you before this plugin is Google’s official plugin, before installing this plugin, we have to checklist some of the routines which are required for setup process.
- Google Adsense Approved Account
- Verified Blog Under Google Webmaster Tools
- Google Account to Login
If you have all the things then setting up is very simple
Login to your WordPress, click on Plugins> Add New
Search for Google Publisher Plugin Or Google Adsense
Once you find the official plugin download and install it, after the installation activate the plugin, now this plugin is successfully activated on your WordPress now you have to setup and select the ad placements for your blog through this plugin.
Go to Settings> Select Adsense plugin click it
Now plugin asks you to verify your site using Google Webmaster tools
Click the Verify button, if you have verified site then, immediately a green tick mark will appear on Google Webmaster tool Box.
Later it asks you to manage Mobile Ads using Admob, which automates the mobile version Ads for your blog , you have the option to select it or not.
Now the Setup process is completed, it looks like below screenshot after completion
Now comes to the part of Google Adsense Ad Manager.
Click Manage Ads in Ad Manager box, first this plugin analyses your site to suggest best places to add ads on your blog, if you have already running ads on your blog then, it asks you to remove those ads.
Note: When Google Adsense plugin analysing my site, it’s shown error in loading page, to come out of this problem, flush out your browser cache before going to Manage Ads to analyse the site.
Once the Adsense plugin successfully analyses your site, it shows the places where to place the ads with red + symbol pin, once you select the +pin symbol it shows selected ad place with complete green colour box in that place, that means you have selected that place to show the ad.
Note: As per the Google Adsense policy we can select only three rich text ads in any single page, we can not select the more than three places in any page, we can select another three normal text ads for our blog but as of now Google Adsense plugin does not support these text ads in the plugin, may be in future it may support, if you want to add text ads then you have to manually place it on you blog.
Like that you have to select ad places on Home Page, Single Post Article Page, Category page, and general pages(About page,Contact page), these options are available at the top area of web page.
After selecting all your desired places, on different pages of the blog, select Save & Close button at the top of the page, now it will show you a message successfully completed ads will display in few minutes.

Conclusion : Official Adsense plugin reduces the pain of editing your HTML code on your blog, allows you to select different places for different blog pages, you no need to login your adsense account to get the code all the process of managing your adsense ads will be simplified.
